Meet Stacy Spensley – Mom and Founder of Center Stage Wellness

Are you thinking of becoming a coach and even more specifically, a health coach and just don’t know how to get started?

You are going to meet Stacy Spensley of Center Stage Wellness and we talk about everything from career changes, to geographic moves to becoming a virtual ‘healthy life coach’ and mom.

This interview is all about life transitions.  Stacy has had plenty of them in the last couple of years and if you are in a state of transition or wanting to make a transition, you don’t want to miss this.

Stacy is someone I look up to since she has been able to handle so many changes in her life and still finds joy and work she loves through the process.

As always, I provide a breakdown by the minute so you can find what is most interesting to you, especially since this is a little on the long side.

However, Stacy had so many amazing stories and insights to share that I didn’t want to leave any of it out.

A Little Background

Stacy Spensley headshot

Stacy Spensley is the creative owner and founder of Center Stage Wellness and former creator of a popular food blog called “Little Blue Hen.”  She is a self-described healthy life coach and is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where she learned some of her coaching chops.

Stage Manager to Healthy Life Coach to Mom

While living in the mid-west Stacy was working as a successful stage manager.  At this time, she would say she wasn’t the healthiest she has been.  She worked long hours and her diet consisted of coffee and carbs.  But then, she had an amazing experience.  Her director introduced her to acupuncture and healthy living and she has never looked back.

Transition – In 2009, she moved!  Her and her husband moved the San Diego area and she didn’t know what she wanted to do.  Stacy was unemployed for a while, but soon discovered the Institute for Integrative Health.  She enrolled and started a business within eight months and has been able to grow her income since starting.

But wait!

Another transition – She had a baby!  In the midst of her success as a health coach, she had a new baby boy.  This has changed her current plans for her coaching practice and we talk about what’s next for her.

She had no coaching experience and no online experience, but she knew she wanted to change lives.  Stacy has a gift in being able to really help her clients meet their specific health goals (instead of giving them generic advice) and she is so easy to talk to.

You will find that Stacy has a sense of humor about life that is contagious and is amazingly down to earth.
