Hi Moms,
Sometimes, I guess it is but natural
to get cranky. Human nature. I just heave
a big "SIGH" whenever there are a lot
of stuff going at home.
Like there are dishes to make, house to clean,
kid on a tantrum attack, husband grouchy,
etc.
What is the best thing to do
in times like this?
Please tell me, what do you do when you feel like
your about to burst?:crybaby:

I walk away and take some time for me. It might be a walk, or it might be watching a movie, or it might be a phone call to a friend. I just take that time for me and usually things are then ok.
First thing to do is remember that nobody's perfect! And don't expect if of yourself either.
I like to use the trick of remembering how quickly the kids will be grown. It's easier for me because my oldest is almost 16. We waited a long time to have more. So I've seen how quickly the time really flies by.
Another really important exercise... I truly reccomend this. Take some deep breaths and remember everything that you're thankful for. It won't make the tantrums go away, or the dishes do themselves... LOL! But you will be able to face these things with a smile on your face.
And smiles are contagious!!!

Yeah, I agree to that! It really helps to be thinking positively, to invite positive energies as well. We can't help but sometimes burnout especially that a SAHM is a 24/7 work, that is something! Way back when I was younger, I would wonder how mom can juggle all the stuff that she'd do. I guess, it takes a great will power and all the positive vibes that you can muster!LOL
Long Live SAHMs!:D

You are human and you have to remember that you are more than the mom, taxi driver, cook and maid. You are a woman and should take time for you. but don't wait until the grrr moments. Try your best to schedule "you time" at least once a week. maybe go have coffee with friends or get a pedicure. Maybe just a soak in the tub with some good music or a book will make you feel a little renewed. i know it can be hard to get time for yourself, but do the best you can because you are just as important as every other member of your family. You take care of all of them, so dont forget yourself.

Thanks for enlightening me Caryn.:-)
It is so true that at times, we SAHMs
forget our 'me' time. We need to pause
to catch some air. Or else we'll burst and
burn out!
