Hello,

I'm very new at figuring out how to divide up my workload, so this is my first awkward attempt at hiring someone to do an article submission. It's not the greatest article, but I guess I need to start somewhere. So this is what I'd like:

1. Review this article and edit if you feel that it can be worded better: http://vitalfinds.blogspot.com/2005/09/why-buy-clip-art-when-you-can-get-it.html

2. Add in Goggle Ads. (I'm getting the impression that there is some sort of standard way to do this, such as a small, white background ad somewhere above the fold of the article.) I can PM my Google ad customer number and/or the ad code.

3. Put the ending blurb of mine about reproducing the article into some sort of format that is considered standard.

4. Then submit to sites. I'm not sure if there are any other steps, because I've never submitted an article anywhere.

5. Then I guess you'd bill me through Paypal.

Please feel free to correct me on the proper procedure. In general, all I want in the end is to have my article out there so that it circulates my links, so whatever that process is is what I'm looking for. I'm ready to have this done immediately, and will pay immediately when invoiced. Please PM me with a rough estimate of the cost to to this task and a short little blurb about how you know what you're doing. :D

Thank You,
Laurie

Hi Laurie,

I submit articles for various clients, but I do have a question. You mentioned adding in google ads to your articles. I don't believe you can do this as, article submission sites do not allow html usually.

Now, as you know you can add the google ads in with your articles on your website.

Just let me know. You can PM me if you would like.

Thanks,
Jen

Jen's right, the submission sites normally only allow plain text articles with a link or two back to your website. If you are wanting to discuss a particular topic that maybe you are an affiliate of, you could link back to that page of your website so if people wanted to read more about it, they could click the link.

Thanks all for the posts & PM's. Mel ended up doing this first submission, so I now have the first one (with it's learning experience) under my belt and can now go from there. Once I begin to see how to divide up my projects, I'll have a lot more things coming along. Anyway, I'm very impressed with the fast response from this site.

BTW, I also realized based on Jen & Mel's comments that Google ads are actually placed in the article banks by them ... so this article went out without ads, which was fine. I just didn't know the standard modis operandi. Thanks again Mel, Jen and others who responded. :D
