Hello:

Over the Memorial Day holiday, I had the opportunity to take a weekend road trip to Daytona Beach. I found this excellent used book store called Mandela’s, and picked up a bunch of Zig Ziglar books. Best of all, I actually made time to lazy about on the beach and read them!

I picked up one success tip that I thought was truly exceptional. Mr Ziglar teaches that if there is ONE SINGLE thing that contributes to success in selling, it is this: Make your first sales presentation at the SAME TIME every morning. If you sell on the phone, make your first sales call at the SAME TIME each morning. Since entrepreneurs often do not have a supervisor to monitor our progress, it is imperative that we keep ourselves on track.

This especially true for Internet marketers. Most of us are our own CEO, IT Specialist, Marketing Department, and labor force. Plus we don’t have a overseer looking over our shoulder to make sure we’re in the office on time. I know more then once, I’ve looked at the little clock in my system tray. It will be 11:30, and I’m not even showered and dressed for the day. I’ve been surfing and screwing around for almost half a day, and accomplished nothing.

So… Here’s the Easy-Success-System: Plan your work for the day. Begin your workday at the same hour every single business day. At the designated time, be at your computer, and be ready to produce results. Start with your level one goals and pound them out. Proceed to level two goals, and then level three goals.

I’m hereby committing to put Zig Ziglar’s Success System to work in my business. I invite YOU to do the same. If you discover ways to improve upon it, please post the here!
