Yes, I said it clients, with an "s". This week was a really good week. I started my VA business in April and was having a difficult time getting that first client. I've worked for companies hiring home based workers, but never obtained my first real client. I started coming to this board last month and was just so thrilled with all the positive feedback and responses Lori and the others were giving to everyone (including me) that I check in on here everyday. Well, I responded to a request earlier this week and got the job. Woohoo... I also had previously responded to a craigslist post and got that one too. Woohoo. Woohoo. The one for craigslist was only for a few hours so that's done, but I am now working on the other client's request.
Two clients in one week, and they were my very first clients!! I know it's not much, but it is just the motivation I need to keep going and not give up on my dreams. This is just proof that persistence and diligence does pay off. Oh yeah, and network...that's very important too. Now, I am trying to keep this ball rolling, but if its like everyone has said once you get your first client others will follow, then I have nothing to worry about.
