Hi Nan,
I'm actually new to the forum, but I'd be happy to give at least a possible suggestion!
I really liked your site and what it represents; very good educational site and resource hub.
For a suggestion, possibly put the main article, product and link headers in a somewhat contrasting color and/or perhaps the Google ad headers in an alternate, neutral color like a shade of gray instead of blue.
This way a visitor's eyes can easily catch the "main attractions" or at least be able to differentiate which is an article/link vs. a Google ad more quickly. Font size and type may also be something to play with when it comes to the most important headers!
Otherwise, I think it's still a great site! Very good job! :D

Hi Nan,
I really like the circle bubble design across the top, but your navigation is way too low. I had to scroll down to get to it and a good rule is keep things simple for your visitors. I would suggest putting it horizontally across the top, or another idea would be to use those bubbles as a mouseover navigation system!
I love the idea of teaching babies sign language. I'd love to hear more about your plans to market your site.
Best,
d

Thanks for your input ladies. I've worked on the site some more so you may want to take another look. I didn't realize my links were so low maybe I should move that google add above my nav. links to under the nav. links maybe that will help. I haven't really thought that far ahead as far as marketing will go. I want to get it up and looking as nice as possible and get seo on it first. But if anyone has any marketing suggests I'll take them too :)

The nav is better higher. Did you realize that those circles on the top that I talked about earlier are set up to be links? Mouse over one and you'll see that it is all ready to go to link somewhere :)
Best of luck!

Very appealing, both in design and content. We are teaching ourselves and our kids (6 and almost 4) some ASL and plan to become more involved in the very near future. This site and the links will be useful, I'm sure! Keep up the good work!
