The ungoing house saga...

Our CT house was inspected and they found leaks in the roof. I SWEAR I never had any buckets out during rainstorms :)

But we did know it was an old roof.

Got talked down $5k on our price. Could be worse I guess.

Now we're just waiting to hear what the appraisal is...

Sorry to hear that! I find that selling a house is a pain in the bootay. The last time we did it we had some very picky buyers who would pick away at the tiniest things!

Boy, these VA loans are demanding! Got a whole new list of things the appraiser... NOT the inspection... is demanding get done. Even though the appraiser came in above market value.

So much above that the buyers were advised not to tell us. :wall:
Okay... so I learned my lesson... NEVER sell a house without getting an appraisal.
