Hi everyone! I do not have a daycare but sometimes I feel like I do! I decided to babysit when I realized I didn't want to go back to work after my son was born in 2003. He was 5 months old when I started and I bet I have had 30 people in the last 2 months ask me to babysit....sometimes it gets overwhelming, but I can't watch everyones kids! I can only watch up to 4 since I am not licensed and the ones I do watch are my friends children and pretty close neighbors also. They are all boys and on the go 24/7. I guess daycare providers can make good money if in the right location......parents never stop needing childcare.

Do you charge them to watch their kids?

I have children of my own, plus during the week I have my brothers 5 month old. Which isn't so bad now that he is crawling around everywhere, BUT when you get my 4 and his 3 here. OH they run around, scream and all the kido things and I wonder am I running one. Some tell me I should since I'm good with children but here your only allowed 7 so I think I'll just stick to mine and every now and then his. LOL

I bet there are days you wonder about your sanity....lol! It's rough when they are babies and the other ones are older. Right now I have 2 one year olds, two 4 year olds, and one 3 year old. One of the 4 year olds is mine. I started watching the one year olds when they were just 6 weeks old....that was rough. The older ones would want to play outside and the babies would cry and want to be inside....I'm looking forward to this summer since they are walking and can go out.

Yes, I do wonder about my sanity at times. LOL!!! I"m ok at day. Yes, I'm glad warmer weather is here so some of them can go outside. I live in the country so I don't have to really worry about them. Thank God they know where they are suppose to play at. But needless to say they are mommy babies so they normally don't get too far away from me.

How old are your kids? We live on farmland....and it's semi in the country...I love it! We are a mile off the interstate, but a farmer sold the front pieces of his land and we have a couple acres....it's nice to have cornfields in the backyard! ....but yet we are only 10 minutes between 2 walmarts! We have a nice neighborhood and like you....I can let my son out to play and not worry.

My kids are 11, 5, 3 and 2 months old!!! Your so lucky on being close to WalMart. It takes me about 45 min. to drive to WalMart. Which I live between 2 of them, but still the same distance. I have always lived in the country and I love it!!!

wow....you do have your hands full! But it's nice probably that the older kids can help with the baby. Does your baby sleep good? Mine slept really good. I don't know if you have a myspace account....but here is my link if you want to check out all my pics. http://www.myspace.com/ajoy724

Yes, my hands are full!!! Olde kids do help out. It is funny though when my 2 month old cries they think he is always hungry and want me to feed him everytime. No, he isn't sleeping good during the night. I breastfeed him and it seem like he never got full, so during the days I give him a bottle to fill him up longer during the day since I started with MomExecs. Then at night I'll breasfeed him. But again it seems like I'm awake every 2 hours. But he is staying awake more during the day so that is starting to help out some.
No, I don't have a My Space, but I have a Kodak Gallery that I store my pictures at. So I'll get that link on here soon.

I live in Santa Barbara, not a small city at all and we too have to drive 40 minutes to get to a Walmart. We also have to drive 40 minutes for Target and Best Buy.

About once a month, we drive down there to all of the stores and have dinner out while down there.

Your son is a cutie, you are very pretty. Wish I had hair like yours... When I try to view your other pictures it sends me to the main page of My Space. I can get the link to my Kodak Gallery but it is very long. Not sure if I can post in here without permission. I'll probably just have to make them smaller and post on the boards.

It's funny how we all explain where we live by the distance to a Walmart...lol....but it's the one thing everyone knows! Butler is a pretty small city compared to most.......but we have a lot of places to shop......is that a good thing??? lol

You have to have a myspace account to view everyting in there......I have kodakgallery also......I love pictures! I just bought a Nikon d80 slr digital camera to start taking photos professionally. That's a semi pro camera, but it will get me started. I got free classes when I bought it and then the girl went and had back surgery and they got cancelled until June...I was bummed....I just hope she comes back and does them! Or I will have to drive a lot further and pay to take the classes.......Thanks for the compliment about my photo.....you should see my hair during they day! lol.....it's in a bun and most of the time not brushed...(like right now)... ;)

I like yard sales but I never get to go much. I had one at my house last year with my neighbor. We always get so busy when summer starts and I always say we need to go to some.....but never make it to many. I know what you mean about Dollar stores! They are everywhere. We have about 6 different ones in Butler. Theres the Dollar General, Cheapskates, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree.....etc...lol

Oh I love taking pictures too. I just have a Kodak Digital Camera, which is good for me.
LOL oh my hair is most of the time in a pony tail and not brushed. I just get up in the mornings and put it up without brushing. It feels good not to have to get up every morning and do your hair or makeup since we are working at home.

Its a tough job managing so many toddlers but at the same time they are all so cute that u forget your stress and strain when u r around with them. Maybe u can think of some ways to keep them engaged. U can also allow them to have a nap so that u have some time for urself.
