1) Do what you love. You’re going to devote a lot of time and energy to starting a business and building it into a successful enterprise, so it’s really important that you truly deeply enjoy what you do, whether it be running fishing charters, creating pottery or providing financial advice.

Do you agree or disagree that you need to love what you're doing?

I agree you need to love what you do. I think part of success comes from the enjoyment, rewards and fulfillment you reap from your home business, career etc. It makes promoting your business so much easier and it doesn't come across to others as being a hard sell. If you don't enjoy it, then in my opinion it's wasted energy and you have to work so much harder for it. I'm not saying you don't work hard at something you enjoy, but it would come more naturally and not forced.

I started my business from home about a month ago and finally just really got into it a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I think you need to love what you do. Seems like I get more engergized everyday tring to come up with things.
