View Full Version : Supporting fellow WAHM's
It's so rewarding to watch the FreelanceMom community grow and I've been brainstorming a lot lately on the next steps to take to continue making it a valuable resource and fun place to hang out :)
I've been thinking a lot about how terrific it is to support other WAHM's and really want to develop a strong networking community here.
If anyone has ideas on how they'd like to see that develop, please let me know...
Warm Regards,
Lori

Hi Lori
I think you took a step in the right direction by adding in and expanding some of the topics here on the boards.
For example...my daughter is 20 years old...so alot of other boards I feel like I have nothing to talk about with them as they are always discussing toddler, baby and pregnancy issues....so I like having alot of general topics.
Shelly
Thanks Shelly,
That's great feedback. Please let me know if you think of anything that's missing - I really appreciate any sugggestions.

I agree with Shelly - I like the general folders for chit chat :D

Is there a natural living discussion anywhere on here? I belonged to a natural family living site but the board closed and I miss it.
Is Natural Family Living a business opportunity?
If so, I'd be happy to add a forum for it...

It's not the name of a business opportunity that I know of, just a general thing to discuss. There are many opportunities for WAHMs in the natural living industry, though, as in organic and natural everything (clothing, makeup, toiletries, etc.) and a lot of WAHM actually make these things and market them over the Internet. I just thought it might be a neat thing to discuss, since a lot of us who feel strongly about staying home with our children feel strongly about natural living too.

Oh.... I get it! :funny:
We don't actually have that type of forum, but if you and others think it would be a good edition, I'd be happy to add it :)
Where do you think it would go well?
