I am writing an article for Babyzone.com entitled THE BREASTFEEDING FATHER, which is basically about how a new dad can help his wife with breastfeeding. If anyone has an input or experiences that they would like to share, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks!!!

That sounds like a great idea! Number one on my list would be help keep mom relaxed. At least that has been my experience. Let me know when it's published, I'd love to read it.

Best,

Cool! I suggest that he be very supportive about her breastfeeding in public and with family. It's time for our society to get over the breastfeeding phobia and a woman can feel much more secure in her decision if her husband is 100% comfortable with it.

Oh my goodness! I just now saw this post, but I have MUCH to contribute to this! Let me know if it's not too late. If it is, just let me know where to go to read it. I nursed my two children until they each turned two years old (6 and almost 4 now) and I absolutely could not have done it, especially at first, if it had not been for the support of my husband. He was absolutely a breastfeeding father.

How did this go, sophiesmom? Is it still available? If so, where?
