I am from Sunny South Africa and am really in search of a really fabulous product or service/concept from the States that I could bring to this country and sell/market here.

Scrapbooking is already al over here. It does briliiantly but I need to find something new, something different.

What about art kits? I believe on another thread here, there was talk about a site that sold kits that had 6 or 7 themed art projects all in one container. The kit contained EVERYTHING needed to complete the projects.

Start doing some research. This is how businesses are born. They start with an idea, then through research and a business plan, they are born.

If you're interested in finding a product to sell, you might take a look at Spiel & Holz Design wooden toys and puzzles (made in Germany). I sell them here in the States, and have received many requests to ship them internationally. I used to sell a lot to Australia, but local retailers have started offering them there - perhaps there is a market for them in your country as well.
