I have 2 children’s and they’re very active, they love’s to play and run, they also likes watching T.V such like (sponge bob and Dora the explorer) and sometimes it really make me feel tired and drained. I was thinking to buy some educational videos (http://www.nestlearning.com) for my children’s because they love animation.

Jessie,
Here's my two cents. If they are active, they need outdoor activities. I don't think sitting in front of a video is the right activity for a child filled with energy. Just my two cents.

Hi Jessie,
I have three little, VERY active boys! I definately know how you feel. Everything is usually fine until my oldest comes home from school then the craziness begins! I find if we go outside to play after school they seem to be more tolerable, but if it's raining or too cold and we need to stay in they are climbing the walls (literally).

Boys are very active.....I have a 4 year old and I babysit a few others. My house is always 100 mph non stop all day.........they love to run around and play trucks and ride bikes....but it seems nothing tire out kids that age. I can't wait until summer!!!

How will summer be different? What will you do over the summer? My kids are older now so summers are really relaxed for us.

Once summer comes the kids can play outside and wear themselves out! We have a huge gym set and my son has a 50 (quad). He got that when he was a year and a half! Last fall he just got the hang of riding pretty good. It had a teather strap that you could run behind him and pull to shut it off if he got out of control. Now we don't have to run through the yard behind him like idiots!

One thing I love is the long days, not being dark until 8 or 9 pm.
I remember one wise man saying to me that the more active kids are the smarter they will be when get adult. Being active is a way to learn more about world, environment for them. So I guess, it's great that children are active. Still, I understand that it may be quite hard for parents to deal with that activeness:) I have a nephew and I know how loud boys may be.

LOL Jessica. Kids are all different...sometimes great people get kids who give them a run for their money and sometimes folks who don't contribute much to society end up with just awesome kids.

I don't think anyone's kids are as active/loud as mine.
In fact i truly believe if they had a contest for the most active/loudest children mine will win.
I love quiteness, they don't. I try to sometimes tell them to stop, listen, doesn't the quiteness sound nice? They laugh at me....
I have resorted to taking them to play-lands at various places (McDonald's, Chic-Fil-a, etc.) so they can burn off some steam. The sun's so hot and with all the reports about skin cancer, etc. i don't like them to go outside until evening so I have again started taking them to play-lands at McDonalds, etc. They never get tired.
Last summer we vacationed in IL. They were 4 years old at the time Our host took us downtown Chicago and we walked from 1 end of michigan avenue back to the other end (where they have all the exihibits, etc.) Had to be a 5 mile trip on foot. They walked all of the miles themselves without being held. You think they were tired? No, when we got back to the hotel they were still raring to go.
I've yet to find out what will tire them out.
Active Kids? You are not alone...:hee:

It does indeed sound like your kids have a lot of energy. Talk to your doctor...I used to use lots of sunscreen and a cap when my kids played outside. Some kids just need to be outdoors more than other kids.

Agreed that active kids need lots of fresh air and activity. My son has inattentive type adhd - while not all that 'hyper' per se he is still quite active and would zone out in front of the tv if I let him LOL.
A neighbor and I trade off with her son and mine and they do lots of sports and other fun activities outside. It keeps boredom at bay and he sleeps better too!
