Hi All,

I was at a craft fair today selling some t-shirts with dogs on them and found another crafter offering a neat concept to keep children occupied especially during rainy days.

Simply put she offers a variety of craft projects (comes with all supplies) you just need scissors.

The kits are $25 you get 10 projects (so that's $2.50 per project). I have twins girls so $50 wasn't an option today but i got 1 kit and here's hoping they will not mind working on "different projects" in the bag. :D

Anyway wanted to pass on the link to her site because if anyone is like me (working from home) and need ways to keep the kids occupied (nearby) while allowing you to work on critical projects these kits were really neat. They may need a little help but it will keep them focused on something so they are not as disruptive.

http://www.thekraftykid.com/ (updated at 10:15pm) the url i first gave was incorrect but surprisingly had a similar product theme to their site.

NOTE: I am not affliated with the seller of the kits and/or don't get anything for mentioning them i just thought it was a neat idea that others could benefit from (to keep their kids busy).

I'm always looking for fun things to do with my three year old. He wouldn't be able to do this without me, but it still looks like a fun Mommy and son project! Thanks for posting.

Angela,

That is a great idea. I'm not an "artsy" person, so something like this is great. Everything is included.

This can also make a really nice birthday gift if you are spending that much on a gift.

Thanks for sharing the link.

Well I can't see how to buy so I emailed the owner and never heard back :( Does anyone know of someone else who sells something like this? I am not artsy at all and this would be perfect for me and my son!

I did a google search for "art kids for kids"

http://mailjust4me.com/crafts/artkits.htm

http://www.creativityforkids.com/prodsearch-resultsNew.asp?ItemName=&Cat1=0&Age=NA&search.x=68&search.y=28

http://www.texasart.com/store/index.cfm?store=005

I did a search for "art in a can" and came up empty.
