Hi all,
My homebased business is really new. I haven't even had a first client yet! but that is okay. I want to take things at a pace that will help it to grow and be profitable in the long term.
My business is actually pretty focused, I have basically one product, with variations. But I am trying to focus on one particular area - Fundraising. That seems to be a difficult market to get into. I am having a hard time figuring out where to start in that area.
My product can be personalized, and is priced so that it is affordable for everyone. But again, I am having a hard time figuring out where to begin.
I would like for some of you to look at my website, specifically the fundraising section, and give me some of your thoughts. Does it have enough information about the programs I offer? Do I need to change the wording, or should I just start from scratch and start over?
:help:
thanks in advance
Lisa

Cute Product!
For School Fundraising, I suggest getting in touch with the PTA or PTO president, as they are ususally the ones handling fund raising projects (they are at our school) For sports teams, try eteamz.com (or is it eteams.com...) they might be able to put you on their site, or you might be able to contact the sports organizers directly. My daughters softball team has their site there (their whole league is there).
Also, with the schools, find out if they have a carnival that you can participate in by having a booth. After seeing many of these, I think the ones that work the best are the ones that not only offer a small and affordable product, are the ones that offer a drawing for a freebie - and gives you a way to build a mailing list!
For the sports teams, ask if you can be there on opening day, during tournaments, closing ceremonies. For our opening day there were several vendors present. Also at tournaments, your custom butttons would be great, especially if you can make them "on site".
Good Luck!
