Dear all,

I've had a full Virtual Assistance business for five years... I just fired my main client for driving me crazy so I have to contact people on my wait list. The way I did it was to decide on a niche. My niche is professional speakers, consultants and coaches. Then I used a mailing list from a professional organization to send out postcards to members who are speakers. That netted me several clients and then I started doing article submissions with my articles and that filled my practice.

I highly recommend that you do not try to work with just anyone. Narrow your focus and specialize... that makes you more valuable (and expensive) and keeps you on the right path to success.

Thanks for the tip, Bonnie. Marketing to a niche is often a good way to go, but can be difficult for those WAHMs who are just starting out.
