Marketing Writer—Technology Emphasis—Full Time (30 hours) Temp-to-Perm
Lorie Loe & Associates is a marketing communications agency specializing in the delivery of copywriting and content development services to technology companies. We are a small organization poised for fast growth and are looking for energetic, responsive, and fun-spirited writers to join our team. We work hard for our clients and enjoy the flexibility of variable work hours, options for telecommuting and flex-time, and a fun, casual office environment.
We are seeking a Marketing Writer to join our organization and provide consistent, high-quality copy for a variety of print collateral and Web content. The role includes taking ownership for client deliverables and ensuring consistent delivery of style, tone, and voice across individual projects. This opportunity starts as a full-time contract (minimum 30 hours per week) with the intention of transitioning to full time employment for the right candidate. Our office is located in the exciting, growing SOMA area of San Francisco.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, projecting and meeting deadlines
• Copywriting for a broad range of print materials, such as brochures, white papers, product briefs, newsletters, articles, case studies, etc.
• Web content writing, including optimization of key words
• Liaison with client stakeholders and coordination of content resources and components
• Take ownership of versions and review cycles to achieve final approved content
• Liaison with designers and print vendors for content quality assurance on final deliverables
Required skills:
• Significant and reference-able work for technology companies/clients
• A significant portfolio of written work across a broad range of materials
• Ability to multi-task and manage details accurately
• Experience interfacing with clients, customers, partners, etc.
• Professional attitude and communications skills suitable for interfacing with business clients and associates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and comfort with Adobe Acrobat
• Basic proofreading skills
• Fun
Desired skills:
• HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash programming skills, or similar
• Experience in a small, start-up environment
• Agency experience
• Experience coordinating content and collateral projects from concept to design
