I had something happen in the last 24 hours that really has me thinking. Person A went to Person B and told a story. Person B believed the story and came to me asking me to fix a problem that did not exist.

I'm actually a little upset with person B as he believe the story and did not ask me questions. Instead he asked me to fix something that wasn't really broken.

This so illustrates there are always two sides to a story. All of us always need to remember that two sides do exist.

But you are magic! you of all people can fix a non-existant problem! haha..

Okay... seriously.. you are SO right.. There are always two sides and we seem to forget that way too often. Im pretty lucky in that I always play devils advocate so I automatically LOOK for the other side of the story more often than not. :shifty:

Sorry Audrey.

That doesn't sound like it was very fun. I hope it's resolved better now?

It was resolved. I"m not sure I"m happy with how it was resolved. But now today, it's on to other things :)

Maybe person B does not realise that there is another side to the story. He or she is so gullible to buy whatever Person A has to give.

You are 100% right...that is exactly what happened.

Actually, like a coin, there's usually three sides ..........

On a coin, there's that little thin rim around the coin, and that's usually where the truth lies. There's your side, my side and the truth (or resolution) usually rests on that little thin rim :)

Exactly as I think too. If I ever hear a story, I think about it before I do anything as to look for holes in the story. Sorry that had to happen to you; at least you did get it resolved though!
