I have read that when you work at home and are consistent, your kids learn what to expect.
Do you have a daily routine that is familiar to the kids? For example, after school, kids wash up and have a snack. Then they do their homework. Then they have some free time before dinner. During snack time and homework time, you'll probably have some time you can work.
