Hi all, I have just launched a site... yet another financial one. There are only so many ways to get creative with the stock market. And I feel like this design is stretching it. I welcome comments, pointers, anything! :wink:

Sorry for the delay responding. I've looked at the site a few times. Love it. Of course!

I don't think you 'stretched it' at all. You did a great job, the site looks unique and professional.

Love how you carried the Z from the logo through the site. Nice touch.

Orange makes people want to buy. It's a good choice for the content of this site.

Love the opaqued captions in the header. Cool idea :) Inspires me for the redesign of asset1 that I'm supposed to be working on... :roll:

The only thing I'm not 100% crazy for is the purple of the Hot Picks login with the orange on the site. I think you're trying to make it stand out and had to use a surprising color there. I think I'd like it better if it was a darker purple, more the shade that is on the MRV logo.

Rollovers are neat. The site looks exciting without being confusing and too flashy.

Obviously, being part of the dzineworkz fan club, I love it! But I am also with Lori ... I don't think the purple works simply because that's the only instance of it on the site.

Other than that, it's perfect, as usual. Love the use of the 'Z'

Wish my financial client was a little more freewheeling .. I could NEVER get away with ORANGE. I'll be lucky if he keeps the opaque confidence works ... excellence .. trust .. coordination

Thank you mucho gals. It is funny, but I had taken the purple link out at one point, and he insisted I put it back.. so I put it back a different color, and noooo.. he wanted it back the way it was. I actually don't like that whole column.

Figures doesn't it? You should see how my financial site turned out! Although I do like it, it's not the site I started with. Apparently, I went TOO conservative :lol:

I think it turned out very good! I wanna see the full version when you get it up. I don't think it looks too conservative at all. For what limitations the client set on you, I think you pulled a great looking site together. :wink:
