What handbooks/stylebooks can you not live without? There are so many and I'd love to have them all. Right now I'm in sore need of an AP stylebook! When I was at the newspaper office one was always at the ready but I don't have my own. I've got to order one.

I guess the thing I must have is the same thing all writers must have ... a dictionary/thesauras. I have Webster's dictionary/thesauras on my computer and it's always up; I never close it off, just minimize it.

I also keep handy Strunk and White's Elements of Style. I think I'll go reread it like it's a novel.

I just checked out Microsoft Office for Dummies from the library ... think I'll add that to my list of manuals I can't live without! :thumb:

Its only the dictionary i can think of now. Otherwise, I have a book on synonyms. Helps me a lot with my work...
