Toot-Toot! $2000 sale!

So I thought I would toot my horn a little;) and share some of the amazing things that have been happening to me with Usborne lately. I just visited our local library to show them our new catalog. The children's librarian called in another librarian, and between the two of them, they bought almost $2000 in books! I could barely walk out of there! My home shows have been steady and solid, bringing me rewards, recruits, and sales. This has honestly been one of the best experiences of my life. I am still at home with my DD and DS, but have something to excel at and take pride in. I am now working on getting some reading incentive programs going. What a wonderful thing to know I am promoting literacy and providing excellent books--and making money.:lol9:

Just got invited to go to a Homeschool Resource Day at a college nearby. I am really excited. Our books are such a fantastic fit for homeschoolers. In fact that is why I became a consultant, and a wonderful benefit--all the books! I get to go and set up a table with samples and info. It is the first year for the event, but it should be good. I'll post and let everyone know how it goes.

I just stopped in to pick up some books from this library. The books need replacing. While in there, the librarian asked to see the catalog again. Lo and behold--she ordered another $1500!!! I have a bookfair at a local elementary school coming up. It will be my last event before we move. I am a little sad, but excited to share Usborne with all new people. This is the best thing I have ever been a part of. (that's period).
