about 3 years ago my dad died and and my teen came home pregnant and then had a baby. my then husband had a head on car accident and was in trama,lost his job and had a recovery period and since it was his fault for the accident we got sued.. finally got back on our feet a little and..then...About two years ago had my marriage end when he left for "errands" and came back said he had rented himself an apartment ,then due to the marriage ending I lost my car so I lost my job..then I lost my home and pretty much everything I owned when it was destroyed by a freak ice storm and sewage flooding, had to move from where I had lived my whole life ..ended up in an area where my neighbors were crack dealers and gunshots every night nearby was normal
I finally managed to get a junker and got back to work..got moved to a better neighborhood but still crappy housing..was finally seeing light last summer..had found a good job had caught up rent after narrowly escaping court eviction..was just getting ready to get a car..thought I had seen the light at the end of the tunnel..silly me ..it was another train:( .
After that I got laid off , my junker was stolen and found two weeks later abandoned and I've had to drive it with a FORK ever since due to they busted out the steering column.Finding a job was hard because I couldn't drive far but I did look in the immediate area..no luck ..so I write and make bills and finally finally had enough saved to get the wheel fixed so I could look in other parts of town for work.In the mean time mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and my car won't make it to her and she doesn't drive. and a couple weeks ago my house caught fire because the landlord refuses to put a protecetive vent cover in or cover the heating coils ..I have the firemen on him about that ... I was so discouraged but I kept on.. well Friday night my TV quit...yesterday morning the overn quit
this past week will be three weeks since I paid for the repairs and he still had not come and got the car..so last night we went over to Kroger a few blocks away to get a few groceries and he was supposed to fix the car today...well ast night the car died when we came out of the store it would not start..I got a jump and my car drained that guys car and killed HIS battery. He got a jump and then someone else tried to give me a jump again and it still wouldn't start.So I returned the groceries to get the money back to get a cab home. I come home to the burnt smell again from the vent and had the fire man come check it out .I do clean the vent every day as I have a shedding saint bernard but my sweeper only reaches so far .Its an old house with one huge vent for the whole house and I can't reach far enough with my little sweeper.
So now I sit here waiting for the firemen to start reports I will need to force my landlord to get a vent cover and wrap the heating coils, trying to find a way to get my car home before it gets towed and sooooooooooo frustrated.I feel like for years I have had a kick me sign on for the universe to have fun with. In the meantime the drs STILL have not started treatment on my mom and she's too meek to stand up for herself.her next appt is the 15th and her ride is coming to pick me up and I'm going to go have some strong words with those drs. Her team never communicates.One told her no surgery she would die.The other set her up for surgery had her in OR all day and then said they couldn't do it she would die on the table ..well *I* told them the other dr said no but he thought I misunderstood because the other dr hasn't sent a report saying so and in all this chaos her small chance of surviving lung cancer (15 per cent) is getting smaller.I'm trying to stay positive and one way or another it will all be good again someday but right now ..arggggggggggggg
