Yep they have updated the PR and the back links, but it seems this still didnt affect the rankings, I guess it will take longer as I see that the update has been done on all of google's data centers.

yes, I agree. I can't wait to get my new idea launched and see how it goes. I'm finding that 'web design' and it's similar keywords are pretty competative, although I'm working in the niche of 'spokane web design' pretty good. I'm waiting to finally show up on Dmoz, too.
