Found this wonderful site with resources and ideas...thanks everyone!!!!
Have been selling Avon and it is putting my daughter through college. I'd like to say it was enough for both my children but it doesn't cover her tuition, too.
I started out w/ Avon as a single mom who just wanted the discount on products. Way cheaper than stores and great quality. Then I started actually talking to friends, family, etc and the business is growing.
Just went online and have a new website where people can order and either get free shipping from me or just three bucks for direct mail.

The best part about Avon for me versus other type of start-ups is that it was a low fee, can be done online, and you don't have to take orders if you ever hit a time where you are just too busy.
