Idol?

Tonight's show is half over and I'm in shock. I just can not believe some of the folks who came to audition.

I watched it both nights and was amazed that so many people really thought they were good. Actually, I do believe they put them on because they are so bad.

I've watched both nights. I think what I find the most surprising are the folks who argue. If you've been told no, the judges are not going to change their minds because you argue with them.

I like when they decide on their own to sing a new song....they think this will make the judges change their mind. Although, it seemed to work for the girl who sang Blondie(was it Blondie?) and then sang Shakira. How about that?

She should have just sang Shakira to start with because she has a Shakira type voice. The song she did which was from Blondie didn't suit her voice at all. Her accent was very noticeable in that song. Like they always say, it's song choice.

my daughter mentioned it will be on 3 times this week. Ack..that's a ton of t.v. time to find.

Three times?? I thought two times was a lot because it was on for two hours each night. Maybe they are going to show it three times but not for two hours each. I don't think I can sit in front of the tv for three nights watching Idol for two hours at a time. I'll write more after the next show:) Betsy

The male talent is definitely lacking! Wow! This week they are supposed to be in Memphis and Im from Tennessee so Im hoping they have people that dont embarass us in the southeast! :brazz:
