Ethics Checked?

Do you think this is important to a success VA business?

I'd like to get opinions on this from you VA's before my husband and I decide what we want to do...

I answered this before but I got an error message when I submitted so I guess it didn't save.

Personally, I think either way is okay. I don't think it will make a big difference either way but if it makes you feel better, then by all means go for it.

I agree. The success I've already had with the new business has blown my mind so I doubt I'll go for it, but I was curious if there were any ethics checked VA's and what their opinion is. I don't know if there are many out there. lol

Hey Nell -

I guess I'd need to evaluate the test before I endorsed it. In theory it is an excellent idea to create a standard for VA's - but I'm not sure I buy into an organization profiting from evaluating us. I'm also not sure I like the idea of our credibility depending upon their certificate.

And ethics is sort of relative isn't it? Everybody pretty much knows right from wrong. Even when they choose wrong. I'm not so sure we can gague the honesty and integrity of an individual from a test.

Further -- most up and coming VA's don't have funds to be 'tested'. Their resume, portfolio and testimonials when they get them have to do the talking. Once they do have money -- they really don't need an ethics check certificate :D

Go ahead anyone and change my mind. Those are just thoughts off the top of my head.
