...the business you're now in?

I just kind of fell into affiliate marketing. A friend gave me her domain, I made a website and found adsense and went from there. In the course of a year I've learned so much about affiliate marketing that I'm not making a full time living at it :)

Who's next?

I too sort of fell in to my business. I was doing small projects for friends and family for a year before I realized what I was doing had a name. With some pressure from everyone and a LOT of support I decided to turn it into a business.

Best work at home decision I ever made!

I worked as a VA for Marlon Sanders for quite some time a few years back and discovered the world of affiliate marketing from one of the best internet marketers out there.

I created promotionhub as sort of an experiment and was genuinely surprised when it started bringing in some money.

I really don't push affiliate programs too too much. Mainly due to the lack of time I have with my VA and Design work. Catch-22 there. I can't WAIT for the day my websites are earning enough that I can put them first...

Best Wishes!

Do you design websites Lori?? That's where I am at with my art now...trying to make it earn money so hubby can quit teaching guitar and go back to writing and recording! He carries mail during the day to support us. sigh....

I do design sites and have some design clients. But what I enjoy more is developing them (like this one) to the point where they are bringing in money from residual income streams.

I'd like to be able to simply work on my own sites if it were a perfect world! :D

I know how hard it is to have your husband heading off to do something he isn't crazy about. My husband John just recently quit his corporate work to join me working from home. It was a big leap of faith but we're doing it!

I figured I was doing subcontract work for other Va's, so I thought one day to mention it to Nell.

I am so glad I opened my VA business. It is really taking off here lately and I could not be any happier.

I am just now getting my feet wet into affilate marketing, but I hope to learn more as time goes on :).

That is terrific Jen!

What kind of VA work do you enjoy the most?
