I need major help. I just don't know what to add. Any suggestions? I am affiliated with Quickbooks so I could add likes to their products.

Thanks,
Missy

I sure could use advising on QuickBooks. I know others are the same. Remember that people are on the web for information. Provide enough information that they know and trust you. Then you can charge them for the rest of the story.

When I think CPA, I think clean and official. You might want to think along that line. The blue on blue is hard to read. You want to send a clear message that you are efficient.

I see you are using Go Daddy website tonight. Build you page large enough that the advertisement is pushed lower and out of sight. You don’t want people to focus on that right away.

Thank you Valerie,

I have changed the color and it seems to work better. I also changed the template...it was taking forever to load on my computer. I have also contacted customer service to see if I can get the text to fit better in the colored areas.

Anytime you have questions with Quickbooks..email me. I know many tricks and work arounds.

Have a wonderful day!
Melissa

Hi! I just took a look at your web site. I'm not sure if the color is good for bookkeeping - just a thought but you might want to go blue or grey. They're typically considered to be 'trust worthy' colors.

Just a thought!

Best of luck!

Melissa:

First and foremost, I would suggest adding more text on the home page describing your business, your services, how you help customers, and what sets you apart from your competition (in a positive way and without mentioning or disparaging them).

This will serve two big functions:
- It will immediately tell potential customers about who you are and how you can help them
- It will provide relevant keywords within the body text of your home page that will improve your search engine ranking

You do have a link to your contact form so prospects can get a free consultation, which is a great start. You can make that more effective by using a stronger Call To Action (CTA). Why not try a box or graphic in the upper corner of your home page body that draws attention and says something along the lines of "Click here now for a free consultation." Your CTA should attract attention (without being too distracting) and using a word like "now" creates a sense of urgency for them to take the action you want.

I hope these thoughts are useful. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Justin
