My favourite stress buster - read a book, or watch Tv. Or best of all sit quietly by myself and just try to relax or meditate for some time.
Works beautifully

A brisk walk will often help me destress. Other times, just alone time can help calm me. I think it depends on where the stress is coming from.

Ah! In the last few weeks I have not bee practicing what I preach. Just got caught up in everything becoming overwhelmed. I am now winding down.......

My stressbusters are: Meditating, walking, listening to soothing music, communicating with friends that I love.

Love,
Luella

Well, i like watching tv too! Besides that, listen to the radio or sing out loud is also a good way to beat stress.

My best stress buster would be the internet. I know this sounds weird but when I'm online chit chatting around, I'm not thinking about all my stress and problems of daily life. My mind is totally focused on something else. :t9:

Excercise is also a great stress busters as well. If I could only get into it. :funny:

Classical music and a drive, if I am really stressed. Otherwise maybe TV or internet.

I crank up the music!!! Sing & dance!! The neighbors may hate it but, I think it's better than me screaming at them.LOL!
I also do some yelling at **** spammers, they can't hear me but I feel better.

I hear ya!! lol
I know this for a fact to be a great stress reducer. I used to do aerobics every single day. I was up to an hour a day with it. Plus I walked.

I was in perfect shape about 15 years ago! What happened???! lol

I can do this again...just a matter of putting my mind to it. ;)

A soak in a hot tub is great too.

My stress buster is to laugh and I mean a really hearty laugh. Laugh until you cry, your sides ache and I'm still laughing even when there's no sound coming out anymore. And running to the bathroom because you swear you're gonna pee your pants.

We've been at my moms the past 3 days. My mom, my daughter and I all sat down to play RummyQ. We love playing that game. My mom has a tendency to "cheat" when playing games. She tried to make a few wrong moves and my daughter said "no way". The 3 of us laughed so hard that we all had tears running down our faces and yes, our sides ached. It is so hard to explain what a wonderful feeling it is to laugh that hard, but it sure is fun.

I exericse, take a walk, chat with other moms, lounge around in bed and watc a movie, scrapbook or read. When I really can't stop my mind from reeling at night and it keeps me from sleeping, I like to play a hynosis CD. It puts me out like a light and I wake up feeling refreshed.

Although it takes a lot of energy to laugh really hard, it's so worth it. Not sure if it's worth wetting your pants though. :p Haven't had it happen to me yet, but if it does, oh well ...more reason to just laugh even more.
