Hi. I was hoping to get some feedback on my site www.souper-tees.com Any comments and critiques are welcome. And if you know of anyone that is interested in our ideas, please feel free to pass the link on to them.
Thanks

Hi Laura!
Very sweet site - I really like it. I'm a little bit worried that with no actual text on the homepage you could have some trouble optimizing it for search engines.
The design itself though is so cute. I love it!

Very cute idea and merchandise! I agree with Lori about the text on the home page. You might want to change the link a little to your Super Shop site... I didn't realize it was a link at first. (and there is sooo much stuff to miss in the Super Shop!) I think you have done a great job!

I just noticed that there are two vertical white lines, going the whole length of your main graphic on the home page. They run down and go through the sleeves of the t'shirt logo. Anyone else see it or is it my monitor?

Thank you very much for the feedback. I've been a fan of both of your sites for a while now - web designing is still very new to me. :D
And thanks for the comments about the text on the homepage.
Come to think of it, my husband mentioned to me that there was a white line down the center of the page on his computer too. I guess it views differently from Mac to PC.
Thanks again.
Wow,
I just also visited your design site. You do some really terrific work!
I do see the vertical lines too and wasn't sure if it was intentional.
Sometimes my designs do that on the edges if I have more content then the size of the images. I don't know if described that coherently :zrazz:
It loads too quickly for me to see how you sliced it... If you need a screenshot let us know :)

My personal thought from what I've learned from mommasterminds.com
Your landing page (homepage) should open your website and not be the page with all your pictures and a click here to open website. The less times you ask someone to click to get to what you want them to buy the better.
I would then make sure you have a really catchy headline - and make it larger then the rest of your text or bold or a different color. Something to grab the eye into the text of your homepage so that the rest of the info on your homepage is read. I would suggest including why they should buy from you, what makes your product unique...what they will find...etc. Something that draws them in and gets them interested in your stuff and buying from you.
Maybe even have a few text links in the body of your homepage telling them where they should start, make a FAQ page... so that the since their eye is already reading your intro text they can go to the links you want them to go to.
I hope this helps. Please know that to each his own and what works for me and others won’t always work for you or everyone, but just some suggestions to think about.
PS
Here is a "for instance" of what I mean by your headline and text on the homepage. This is from my work at home mom website:
Headline:
Are You Tired of the 9 to 5 grind? Would you be interested in working virtually, but you just don't know how? Mommy's Place is here to help connect you with your successful career...virtually.
I draw them into my website by asking them a question and then telling them what my website will do for them. And then I go into more detail under the headline:
You have two options...either to telecommute for a company or start your own business. You will find information about telecommuting and owning a home based business to help start you down the path to your virtual career.
Here at MommysPlace we offer resources to help get you started working from home and information to help make your career a success.
If you've searched for work at home ideas and haven't found what you're looking for, you need not look any further. We have it all in one convenient location.
I make my money with adsense so those are the links there, but if I was selling a product like you are, then I would include links like I suggested. Like a "where to go now", "FAQ"...etc. :D

I like the concept! The t shirts hanging on the line are very cute and a good idea.
You do have a lot going on on the site; but I think with your market, it works. They're fun t shirts, so people are going to expect color and action! :)
Great job and best of luck!
