 Please take a look - comments appreciated. All the items are handmade and I think they are underpriced...I thought a lower price would attract more buyers - what do you think?

Hello. I think you have a nice start here. I like the background and the way it nicely compliments the left sidebar.
A few things I would change:
The top nav doesn't match the rest of the site. I would suggest making all the nav buttons the same deep red as the sidebar or maybe sticking with text links.
Also, I noticed while going thru your side that your logo (name) changes throughout the site. I would suggest picking one logo and sticking with it, as changing this item disrupts your customer's sense of continuity. We don't want the customers feeling discomfort...we want them to SHOP! :D
As for the prices, they don't too low to me, but retail isn't my specialty. I would suggest looking at sites that sell similar items, or maybe selling a few on ebay, to set your price point.
Best of luck to you!

You are CRAFTY! The Deep Red and sort of peachy tan color you chose for the main site look really nice to me.
I couldn't comment on pricing -- I think it depends on how much time it takes. Can you find out what other people are charging for similar items?
Best of luck with your business. Remember to stop by if we can help you in anyway or just to pass some time :)

I am with Debbi, you have very nice start. The thing you have to remember here is that there are a lot of variables which have bearing on whether or not visitors actually purchase from your site.
Of course, as you mentioned, price. Another is the comfort level of the site. The more professional the site, the better the chances of the visitor feeling comfotable enough to provide their information. I don't mean professionally done neccessarily, but like Debbi said, more consistent.
Little things only, like making sure your buttons all line up and look the same. The logo/name should be the same. The navigation should be easy, and consistent. I think you have a great product and that you are a few baby steps away from a great site to promote them!
