Another great way is to write articles and press releases. I've found that the more information you offer the more people will trust your judgement and start thinking of you as an expert in your field. They will in turn use your services and recommend you to their friends.

VERY TRUE! Even when you might not think you're an expert, if you have a lot of articles people will just think you are.
