REASON FOR LEAVING HARTFORD: To stay at home full time with our daughter

January 2001 - August 2002
Mission MedVet
Summers of 2003 and 2004
Mission, KS

My position was a part-time evening/weekend Front Desk Receptionist at an emergency vet clinic. I was responsible for answering the incoming calls, answering general questions, routing calls to the proper person and making sure the ER Vets receive the appropriate calls. I was also responsible for checking in clients, following through with the proper paperwork, making the files and cash handling experience when the clients are checked out. I also did filing and miscellaneous paper work as needed.

REASON FOR LEAVING: Looking for a more permanent daytime position as well as telecommuting work from home if available

April 2004 - October 2004
Alcops Inc./Orion Services
Overland Park KS

My position with this company was doing data entry and typing work from my home. I was responsible for typing of reports and forms from information that was filled out from mystery shoppers going to theaters and restaurants and completing the forms via Microsoft Excel and Quattro Pro. I was also responsible for typing and completing the narrative report that went along with each report according to the specific needs of Alcops as well as each different company and what was required in the reports per their requests.

REASON FOR LEAVING: Alcops had been bought out by another company and for a short time they used my services but eventually all the work was going to start being done out of the office and no one working from their home anymore

September 2003 - May 2004
Valley View Christian Pre- School
Overland Park, KS

My position was a Teachers Aide in the 4 year old classroom. Along with aiding the Teacher in the daily process of the classroom I was also responsible for getting the room ready daily for class, cleaning up, as well as helping the Teacher in any daily projects, learning, playtime and any educational areas that she may require my help in.

REASON FOR LEAVING: Registration down and myself and another Aide were not needed for the following school year.

August 2004 - May 1, 2005
Puppy’s Playpen
Overland Park KS

My position at this company is as Front Desk Receptionist/ Office Person. I am responsible, along with the owner, in handling the daily paper work and files of any clients that come into the company for boarding/daycare and/or grooming services. I am responsible for making sure the paperwork is completed, getting all pertinent vet records, setting up the file and making sure the file is completed properly. I also answer incoming phone calls and answer any questions from any prospective clients as well as any current clients that may have any questions. I also help in taking care of the smaller dogs which are at the front desk area. I help in cleaning up after them, giving them attention and of course giving them lots of love! And although I am working at home right now I still continue to work “as needed” at this company on a very part time basis.

May 1, 2005 - Current
Household Mortgage Group

I am currently working part-time from home doing research and data entry for this company.
