Your google ads look great. What a cute site! Very bloggish :wink:
Sometimes I wonder though, are we becoming immune to google ads on web sites? I miss them sometimes because they have become such a part of almost every site's landscape.

Yes, and I sure hope not!
Google accounts for quite a bit of my income :D
There are mixed opinions on the best way to showcase google ads. Some say that they should stand out strong - others say that you get more click thrus when they look like links that are on your website.
I recently tried the second way on FLMom and my click thrus did increase, but so has my traffic so the jury is still out! :)

Can I offer a tip? Adsense has always worked better for me when the background of the ad block is the color of my website background, when there is no border and the links are the classic blue link color. People have "banner blindness" and when your adsense looks like a banner then many people will just ignore it....most of the time anyway.
These are tips that have helped me and other friends I know, but they aren't die hard rules of course. The best thing to do is to test, track and tweak to see what works best for you and your websites. Here is how you ad the googles into the content of your posts. This way will show up right under the first three posts of your blog:
Go to your template and go all the way down into the body of the template. Then look for the post area and at the end of that area you should see After that you should find the comments area and it ends with Put your Google code right after that.
And then if you want it to show up on the left of the first three posts, where the text will wrap around it then try this:
Find this bit of code and add the bold part
</BlogItemTitle>
<div class="post-body">
<table align="left">
(Google Code)
</table>
<div>
<$BlogItemBody$>
Most of all just remember to have lots of fun with your blog! Oh and do you have an rss feed on the blog? If not, you will want to do this so that people are updated each time you post. I can help you with that if you need it. Just post here and let me know.

Hi Everyone!
Its been awhile since I've been back. My 7 month old is keeping me very busy. He started crawling a couple of months ago and is now VERY VERY quick and has discovered laundry baskets..lol...
Thanks for everyone's input in regards to Adsense!
I've tried both ways, the same color as my site and the way it is now and it seems to be working with this so I'll leave it for now I think.
Thank you for the html coding !
