We have a lot of pine cones in our yard, so I decided to try my hand at making scented pinecones rather than buying them. It turned out to be really simple. Simply soak the pine cones in
scented oil (http://www.compactsearch.com/cgi-bin/smartsearch.cgi?username=meme0907&keywords=scented=oil) and let dry. The pinecones are porous and absorb the scented oil for long lasting scent.
Make some for
gifts (http://www.compactsearch.com/cgi-bin/smartsearch.cgi?username=meme0907&keywords=gift), add them to your wreaths, add them to bows on gifts to dress it up, or have a bowl of pinecones sitting around to make your house smell great.
