ATTENTION:

If you knew it was POISON, would you still use it?

Let me show you how simply SWITCHING STORES could make your HOME, your FAMILY, and your CHECKBOOK much HEALTHIER by eliminating TOXIC products found in YOUR home!

LET’S STOP POISONING OUR KIDS

:doubt:

Many scientists and doctors are discovering that there is a connection between our increased use of household chemicals and the increased incidence of chronic illnesses in children like cancer, asthma, ADD/ADHD, birth defects and a host of other problems.*

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

As consumers, we must be aware of alternatives and methods to make our homes safer. A very easy and convenient way to reduce the level of chemicals in our home is by using alternative, safer methods for personal care and household products. We CAN stop using these harmful products as we do have alternative choices. Keeping our houses and bodies clean does not mean we have to use dangerous, cancer-causing chemicals.

WHAT ARE OUR
ALTERNATIVE CHOICES?

If you could purchase products that are safer for you and your family, that are chemically free and environmentally safe, they are better than what you are currently buying, have them delivered to your doorstep, with a 100% money back guarantee AND you can build a business just by switching stores and telling others…WOULD YOU SWITCH STORES???

http://www.marketwaveinc.com/articles/spaghetti.asp This is a great article about the scare tactics used in the above ad.

From what I have been reading for the last 16 years I don't find much of the post originators message to be a "Scare Tactic".

Being open to reading NON american publications about our products manufactured overseas and some of the risks that have been presented were a real eye opener that IMO American Big business wants the American public to continue to walk around with blinders on.

There are documented studies popping up all the time. The WallStreet Journal announces them all the time in the morning. The first one I read was about the TOXIC emmissions of disposable diapers and their effects of respiratory distress on our newborn babies. This 11 page study was performed at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center -- The #6 rated medical facility in the entire country, done in 1989.

Thank you Michelle for your post.:)

Mary Beth,

Information and advertising are two completely different concepts. I would be VERY OPEN to someone posting a link to a non american website showing studies that have been done.

However the advertisement in this particular thread is a copy and paste from an ad sales representatives from this company have been posting for years. Their intent is indeed to scare others into buying THEIR products.

Sorry, but this is scare tactic advertising not educational information.

If you personally enjoyed the post, that's awesome. However I presented an article that was written years ago when this propeganda started circulating.

I'm sure the original poster is a fine person, however this person has posted the same ad 9 times. Again, sorry, but the intent is not to provide helpful information.

My 2 cents,

I made no indication that I personally enjoyed her post. I THANKED her for the post.
Just because the words are in bold or colorful letters does not make the content of the post any less valid. It is indeed information in the direct approach. Based on some valid facts.

Labeling this Propaganda does not fit this topic, when simple google searches will show countless documented "informational" articles, studies over many years validating the originators post.

This Michelle, like you, has come here to post her business. If her business is not appropriate then a PM to the administration is a tactful, professional way to approach this rather than BLAST her in a public forum out of the starting gate in two seperate posts.
Should she be here to just advertise or to post I would think it would be appropriate to offer her the same courtesy we would all expect in a board, and if not it is the administrators place to decide otherwise what it not fitting.

Just my two cents.

This Michelle, like you, has come here to post her business.

Perhaps this is the difference. I did not come here to post my business. I cam here to meet others, to learn, to read, and hopefully to share.

If her business is not appropriate then a PM to the administration is a tactful, professional way to approach this rather than BLAST her in a public forum out of the starting gate in two seperate posts.

The word "appropriate" does not fit here. The business in question is Melaleuca. They are a legitimate 20 year old MLM company.

I also never "blasted" her. Instead I posted two sentences that contained an article that speaks of toxic spaghetti.

Should she be here to just advertise or to post I would think it would be appropriate to offer her the same courtesy

Again, I never showed disrespect, I offered two sentences, one which was a link to an article written years ago and a second sentence telling folks what the link was.

I'm really sorry my post has upset you. My intent was to educate not upset.
