Ezine Ads

Hi All!
I just found this forum today and it looks great :) I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!
I'd like to find out if any of you use solo ezine ads for getting traffic to your site (either product or biz op focused ads). If you are experienced in this I'd love to hear any tips you have.
If you have had bad experiences, I'd like to hear those to......looking for the pros and cons and how I can get started without losing a lot of money with this type of advertising.

Glad to have you join us :)

I have never used solo ads myself... but I can tell you that almost all the solo ads delivered to me from a couple sites that are trusted senders still end up in my spam box. Their regular mail does come into my inbox...

thanks for your input Lori, hmm, I hadn't thought of that. I had read somewhere that the solo ads were the only way to go...that's why I was asking.

anyone else? or....has anyone had success with any type of ezine advertising?

What other types of advertising have you had success with?

I would like to learn more about generating my own leads instead of buying them (very generic).
