I have been doing the whole caboodle on marketing- articles, link exchanges, you name it. I signed on with some surf sites such as Traffic Swarm (http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?564602) and it was okay. I got 40 hits form it in a month. I would guess probably only 2 or 3 of those people ever really took a good look at my site. However, tonight I discovered I Need Page Rank (http://www.IneedPageRank.com/?refid=20618). I got 50 hits in an hour or two. Granted, it is a sirf site so like I said probably only a few people will get interested and really give my site a good look, but still I think 50 hits in a night is pretty good. It also allows you to put 5 sites on there. And all 5 sites got 50 hits. I am pretty happy with this.

Do you put your website on there or are they affiliate programs you put in there? I'm asking because in Google Adsense's terms they don't allow you to promote your website with Adsense ads on them in traffic exchanges.

I put my affiliates on there in an attempt to get a downline. I am glad you told me that about google though. I did not know that. I thought about putting my site in a surf rotation but I figured it would be a waste since I don't profit my site and I doubt any surfers would really take the time to read it.

Yeah, I know people don't care to see websites like ours in surf sites. People like things that are free. I think Google considers it click fraud or something like that. I wish you lots of signups with your affiliate programs. :)
