I'm new here, but this has always been a very difficult thing, especially in the beginning... what specific problems are you having?
I will admit, I'm one of those annoying people with a PDA smartphone. I'm on my 3rd upgrade. I even name it. His name is Morris (v3 I suppose)... I put EVERYTHING into Morris. I sync him each night with my.yahoo.com - which holds all of my updated calendar information, contacts, etc. I also use MyYahoo as my homepage and it has everything for my morning on there, RSS feeds, the news, reminders, evites, map thingy... that saves me TONS of time in the morning from having to dig around for different links.
I also use a timer. I have a 50/10 rule. I work for 50 minutes and take a 10 minute break. I use a timer when I put the laundry in so it dings when it's time to move it, I know that every Thursday I have to make sure the dishwasher is empty so the housekeeper can do her thing... my Treo buzzes constantly with reminders. I truly would be lost without it.
It's hard... but do whatever works for you. A friend of mine has a little pocket calendar -- her "bible" as she calls it. It depends on your work style and what works best for you.
Good luck!

hi christie!
i agree with candy. you have to find what really works for you different methods work for different types of personalities.
as for me, i set aside an hour to list down my priorities once a week. then i have a calendar that is visible from my computer chair at a glance. and i also use a software called timesheet express, its very flexible and helps me a lot.
here are some articles you might want to take a look at:

I've always used a day planner. I write everything into it. My kids are older now and they've always known if they want me at school, for lunch etc, it has to go into my day planner.
When I set goals, I write them into my day planner. With a day planner, it also helps me not miss doctor appointments or special rehearsals for the kids, things I used miss pre day planner days.
I think finding the system that works for you will make a world of difference.
