One of the best ways to increase your google ranking is to have many incoming links to your website.

Although reciprocal linking is a good thing, it doesn't help your ranking quite as much as 'one way' links coming into your website.

The ultimate goal of course is to create a website that has such terrific content that people just link to you voluntarily without a reciprocal link.

But another very effective method of increasing the incoming links to your website is by submitting articles to other websites with a link to your website included in the bio.

Here is a list of places to submit articles to that I posted awhile back:

Best wishes!

Finding article sites that allow html in the byline so that you can links your main keywords to your index page are especially helpful. Just thought I would point that out, ;). Great list Lori, thanks for taking the time to post it!

That is a HUGE list! Good job :D I would like to recommend www.isnare.com also. I paid a small fee to submit 50 articles to isnare and then they submit the articles to a large list for you. I've done this with new websites that had no links coming in and I've already had articles picked up and am getting all those great one way links!
