Hi ladies! Ever notice a how a man greets another man (especially if it is someone new)? It totally makes me wonder how on earth they can be considered " Great Businessmen". lol Well I am so glad to have discovered this sight. I actually came across it weeks ago but I have been putting together my business (alone!) and bookmarked it for later.
I feel so comfortable just reading the discussions and learning all the ideas out there. I guess you might say that this is a safe place to go to bounce ideas off of somebody when you have heard enough of you moms or best friends words of wisdom and countless I told you so's. I started an import/export, marketing, research and promo business. I just opened a week ago and I am still in the process of finishing my website. :? I swear I have been saying that for over a month. But really it is almost finished. I work out of my home so I get the pleasure of all the worlds. How about you? Wow! That sounds exciting! What are you importing/exporting? My husband and I were importing some gorgeous carpets from Kashmir for awhile. I found that ultimately I was better at putting them on my floors then I was at selling them... :oops:

Welcome! Import/export of what types of products? I did bookkeeping for a lumber import/export company in Portland for a year. It was interesting and fun working with different cultures.
