I've been a work at home mom well . . . I'd say more than 18 years now, because I think EVERY mom WORKS at home, whether she gets a paycheck or NOT, LOL!!
I left "corporate America" 15+ yerars ago and homeschooled my kids, but decided to send them to a private high school - well, THAT is expensive. I found a home business almost 4 years ago now, and LOVE it - it's not only allowed me to work around my kids' schedules of volleyball, baseball, dance, etc. but my husband actually got to retire early, two years ago. It's been great because NOW, he does all the stuff I used to try to juggle, and besides, he's a MUCH better cook than I am :)
We live in South Texas right near the beach and enjoy fishing, and soaking up the sun when we can. I love quilting and gardening, but I don't get to do too much of that as our schedule with all the kids' sports is a bit hectic - very soon, I'll have ALL the time in the world to do all that when my 15 year old daughter graduates from high school. Our son is 18 and graduates this year - hard to believe.
Well - that's it for me - I look forward to getting tips and ideas and lending some of my own when I can :)
Enjoy your week,
