Hi All,
One thing I have learned from talking to successful MLM is that you cannot give up. I know it is cumbersome to try to run a house, be a mom, and in some cases be a wife, that by the end of the day you are exhausted. I do my research, or get on forums as soon as my bundle of joy is sleeping. My husband and I have an agreement that he will take over the bathing and getting ready to sleep while I work either on creating a business or making up (keeping up) for my job job (the one that pays me and gives my my benefits). Not everyone is lucky, I know.
Here are some advice I received:
1. Give up TV
2. If you didn't get your household work done, then as soon as you put the baby(ies) to sleep, put the timer on for 15 to 20 minutes -and clean. As soon as that buzzard goes off get a cup of tea or hot cocoa and sit in front of your computer
3. Schedule your days for internet work and calling nights. The nights that you will need to make phone calls, ask for help. See if mom or friend can help watch the kiddies. In worse case scenerio, you may need to hire that babysitter. Hopefully they will give you a discount since you are in the house, just a little indisposed.
4. Keep truckin- you are not going to be a millionaire overnight, or in a week, or in a month. It takes time building a business. This is the main reason, less than 5% are successful in DM. People give up.
5. Make sure you LOVE the product- your credibility and reputation is at stake.
6. Get a mentor that will help you along the way
I have a lot more good ideas, but I am tured of writing. I can't tell you how much research I have done, and how frustrated and excited I am about starting in DM. Really do your homework. Don't be taken away with pictures or video of people with boats, living in condo's, traveling and telling you how great their life is. It is only 1 to 5% that can really say it works.
