Suggestions please!

Hi everyone!

I am new to the group and to the working at home idea. I am wondering if anyone has any pointers for me on where to even begin. I have been a legal secretary/paralegal for over 12 years. I am very interested in doing contract work at home for local attorneys, but I have no idea how to solicit the work. I guess I am just really uncertain as to how I should introduce myself and/or my services, and I definitely have no idea on what to charge, etc. I guess I just have a lot of questions.

If anyone can help with suggestions or point me in the right direction to useful websites, etc., I would be very, very grateful!! :D

I know nothing about the LEGAL field at all except for malpractice issues however my neice is an attorney so I will be seeing her on Sunday and I will ask her how one goes about doing freelance legal services and see what I can find out.

Have you considered contacting an old employer and seeing if they might be interested in using you on a part time/telecommute basis?
