Travel To Russia

Please help.
Somebody travelled across Russia? How There?
I Am going to go here, advise, what route is better for choosing? Of what agency to take advantage? On the internet it is a lot of sites offering these services (gotorussia.com, russia-travel.com, 3btours.com, russia.com, etc.), but it were would be desirable to hear opinion of people which already there.

Helo, MonNkaD8! I've been to Russia twice. Is your trip for business only?
I went by "Private Invitation." My friend in Russia applied for it through the OVIR. When it was approved, I received it by mail, and obtained a visa from Russian Consulate in NY.

If you have a Russian contact, ask for an invite. Otherwise, visit the Russian Embassy site. They recommend tour services, and supply information on rules, obtaining proper paperwork, etc.
