The SHALI team is a training and support group that was created to give people who are wanting to work at home a legitimate resource. We have partnered with a 21yr old Wellness Company that gives us the ability to do this from home!
The support I get from this team is AWSOME!!!!:t4:

Actually I've been a customer for about 1.5 years. I just started building my biz in Feb.06. I wish I would have started with it sooner!;) I love this Business! And you're right...It's fun!:t10:

Melanie, I would love to hear more about your personal experiances in building your own business. Since I am new I was wondering if you knew any secrets about advertising. I have been posting on forums for about 2 weeks now because I can't afford the more expensive stuff at the moment. Do you know of any great places to advertise that doesn't cost an arm or leg? I am part of the SHALI-Director Dash Fast Track team. Do you participate in Fast- Track?

Laura, Being pretty new to all this biz myself I'm trying to find my niche too. Like you I don't have a whole lot of money to blow. I've been doing everything that's free so far. I pretty much stick with forums geared towards women.
I've learned in the past few months that it isn't worth the effort to just post your biz in the advertise your business sections and then move on to the next board. What really works is to actually introduce yourself in the forum and than welcome others as they join.
Then scroll down the board to find another topic that might interest you and reply to different posts. Make sure you have a siggy line.;) If the subject really interest you make sure you check the "email me when someone replys box". That way you can respond when someone replys or answers your question.
By doing this myself I've gotten 2 enrollements out of it in the past month. People would rather go with who they are familiar with rather than a stranger. It took me a long time to figure this out.
As far as Fast Track goes...I haven't. At least not yet. I really need to. How is it for you? Do you think it's too late for me? Doesn't our team have one today at 11:00am? Can I just jump in?

Melanie, Thanks for the info.:) As far as Fast Track goes, unfortunatly it's already too late to join this one. The deadline was last Friday to join a team.:(
But there's always next month to join. If your mentor isn't doing a team then let me know. I'll see if I can get you on mine. I am not having any luck with enrollments thus far in Fast track. Which sucks , because my goal for it is to reach Director. I am beginning to get a little discouraged.:( Hopefully, though things will pick up before Fast Track is over.

Laura just remember that this is not a get rich quick scheme. With any legit business it takes time to build it. Don't get discouraged. It will happen but only if you don't quit. Most people quit right when they are on the verge of success.;)

Melanie, I know that it isn't a get rich quick business. I knew that from the start and I don't expect that. But I would really like to reach my goal to become director this month for my Fast Track team, myself, and my mentor. I didn't get anywhere with my contact list.:( The only one on my list to enroll was my mom. I would like to enroll 7 more people by the end of the month and then I have to admit I would slow down a little. I have been pouring all of my time into my biz so far and spending very little time with my family. I mean I'm at home but I'm either on the computer or the phone all of the time. I wouldn't slow down a whole lot but I would definately take at least 2 days off each week instead of working everyday.
