Please review my site. I had someone else design it but wanted to get some feeback as she can still make changes for free. Thanks for your input.

Hi there-
Viewing 1024x768 IE
The first thought I had - what's with the splash page? It serves no purpose other than to make the user click one more time than necessary.
The images on the main home page of the ecommerce system need to be at a higher resolution. I'm using a flat-panel monitor that is about 4 months old and the images are too fuzzy and jagged. Imagine what they must look like to someone who has an older monitor with a bad video card! See if your web developer can get ahold of some images directly from the company to be used for advertising purposes (Coca-Cola does this). Or, scan in an image that you have - but just at a higher resolution.
One last thing - since you have a shopping cart and you're going to be collecting names, address, credit cards, etc. - you need to post a privacy policy letting your customers know what you are doing with their information.
Hope this helps!

On second thought - a good use for your splash page is to let others know before viewing the site that the pictures and content may be offensive to some. :!:
I'm serious about this - why do you think that no one else has bothered to respond to this thread? I'm sure that there's more than one person on this site that thinks you're just spamming....

I'm in agreement with the splash page being a waste. In terms of search engine optimization it will hurt you.
Your homepage is loaded with good text that could be optimized nicely for excellent search results.
I wouldn't worry though about warning people about the site content... Anyone searching on kegals understands what it is.
Lisa is right - the graphics are too jagged. That really should be fixed.
Good luck with the site!!!

You've got a valid point, Lori. I guess I'm too much of a prude - I thought the 'customer reviews' on the right hand side were a bit much when they started talking about how the exerciser could make them orgasm!
I'm only one person, tho - if that comment helps you to sell more products - terrific!!
Lisa
Missed the comments!
Yeah -- depending on the target market, take comments like that into consideration...
