Web design, Ecommerce, logo design....

Hi all,

I am new to this forum - I was recommended to come and check it out by Antonia of acpr.

I am a website designer, I mostly work with small - medium businesses, and have worked a lot with WAHMs (work at home mums) or businesses run from the home to whom I have been offering special rates.

I have recently designed a jsp, shopping cart for ecommerce sites and am working on a couple of shopping sites at the moment.

I've also been doing a fair amount of logo design which I really enjoy.

I love what I do, especially the fact that I can work from home around my children (who are 3.5 and 2).

I took a look at your portfolio -- Nice stuff. It looks like you have done a lot of WAHM sites. Very nice!

Just an update to my resume as I see that my post has been moved into a new forum :)

I set up my business: Glassraven web design (http://www.glassraven.com) in February 2002 (so at the time of typing Glassraven is 3.5 years old!).

I started developing websites whilst pregnant with my daughter Callista in 1999 - initially as a way of showing scan photographs to family who did not live locally.

I completed some freelance work for Coventry University - designing the environmental sciences minisite. And also a freelance job desiging a website for the Centre for Environmental Research and Consultancy.

Prior to setting up Glassraven I worked for a web design firm based at Warwick University (UK) whilst studying towards a degree in Business IT, after my son Aiden was born in October 2001 I decided that I would setup on my own and so a few months later Glassraven was born.

I have a large portfolio featured on my website, some recent launches include (launched in the last few months):
