Blogging is a great way to release some of those pent up feelings. It sort of reminds me of having a diary when I was younger. The problem with the dairy is that you tell yourself that you should write in it but never do. There really is not that pressure with blogging.

Pingomatic is a great service to use. Just go to: http://www.pingomatic.com

Enter your blog name, on the line that say's "Blog Name" (i.e. Laurie's Blog or Affiliate tips, whatever you call your blog), you can also enter one or two keywords here, i.e. Beauty tips, free beauty samples,
or Wahm Blog, free wahm tips. Just make it short

On the next line: Blog Home Page: you would enter the physical location of your blog, on the Internet
i.e. http://beverlyjohnson2005.bravejournal.com or whatever your blog address is (it's similar to a website address)

Next line: RSS: Don't worry about the RSS address, unless you happen to know it.

Then in the next section, "Services to Ping" click the blue link that says, "Check common", or just manually check all the boxxes.

Then click "Send Pings"
You'll be sent to a confirmation page. That's it!
But, only use this service after you've added fresh material to your blog
Best of luck with your blogging.

:hello: everyone! How do you incorporate a blog into a business site? Yeah, I'm new to this. Do you place the blog onsite or off site? I think a blog would personalize a business by making the owner more real to the potential customers. This could help build trust b/t seller and purchaser. Also, how often does a blog need to be updated to be useful and appealing?

You really can do it either way... I chose to do the FreelanceMom blog as part of the site... www.freelancemom.com/blog but I know some argue that doing a blog on a seperate domain will be good for search engine optimization because you can add links to your site.
